Working-session replays

Which decisions become visible when a participant replays their work?

A repeatable workflow using Plan → Conduct → Report. Adapt recruitment, timing and depth to the decision, participants and evidence available.

1. 01

   Plan

   Select a recent working session relevant to the product question. Obtain permission for the recording or artifacts and remove unrelated sensitive material. Prepare a timeline template for actions, information, collaborators and decisions.

2. 02

   Conduct

   Replay the session with its participant. Pause at transitions, hesitations and handoffs. Ask what they knew at that moment, which alternatives they considered and what the recording leaves out. Distinguish visible behavior from retrospective explanation.

3. 03

   Report

   Annotate the sequence and compare it with other sessions. Identify repeated breakdowns and successful adaptations. Share a concise replay map, the evidence behind each interpretation and the interface or workflow changes worth testing.
